BIOGRAPHYEver since The A-Teens broke up in 2004, Marie has been catupulted from being a lead singer in a Pop group to one of Sweden's most marketable Pop stars. She took a break from her career in 2005 to figure out what she wanted to do. During that year, Marie devoted herself to many projects. She started doing voiceover work (dubbing) for Americam films such as the animated Robots and the live-action Herbie: Fully Loaded. In late 2005, news got around that she and songwriter and producer Jörgen Elofsson were to work together to create a unique untitled pop album.
In 2007, Marie wrote in her official diary that she was back in the studio working on her second album. Since then, fans have been discussing everywhere what sound she's going to be tackling. Would she still be doing pop or would there the album hold an entirely different sound? The album was slated to be released in Spring 2008 but fell through due to unknown reasons. As of the Summer 2008, the date of Marie's second album is unknown. For more information visit A-Teens.Com & Official. |
